Good reference for medical situations, but I work as a caregiver, so I was hoping for more home-oriented phrases. Things like "do you want me to make your bed" or "did you remember to take your meds" would've been more helpful for me. I think I'll still keep it in case I have someone who needs to see a doctor, but use my household Spanish book for household stuff. That's oriented towards housekeeper, maid and nanny situations, but should work in a pinch.

I find this book helpful because of high school and Spanish is my first language. The information is compact hence the name pocket guide. I am only on chapter two so far it is helping me in the medical field.
Has some phrases useful for medical office and the hospital. it is a Convienient pocket sized book. Would recommed for someone who is relativly familiar with Spanish.
This book is a generalized spanish translator for health care professionals with little to no spanish skills. It is not specific to any specialty in health care. The key word here is very general. I did not find it to be helpful as my needs are specific to oncology.

Information seems great!Only reason it gets a 4 is because it was supposed to be new and it already had writing and marks on it =*(I love my books perfect so this is annoying....
I would recommend this book to anyone who does not have time to take a complete Spanish class, but needs to be able to communicate with Spanish speaking patients! I love this book!
